It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He has written articles for several magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited to think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s been giving away free advice about events and leadership and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotations and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this small collection of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about direction. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus in the world. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, irrespective of whether you’re old or young.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, don’t sit around waiting for someone else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it’s impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most people appear to expect that the more they do, the better they’ll be. The issue is that most people never find out how to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it is nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few men and women who appear to live the life they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they did not know.”
“The only way to get to direction is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then start to figure them out. If you are reluctant to change, that’s the indication of a person who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is having the ability to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A good leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and uses that information to develop new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader realizes that leaders get good results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it’s not enough to just know the right thing to do; they have to have the ability to take it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but errors should not stop you until you can get back on your feet.”
“A business has a better probability of success if its goods or services are exceptional, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you are careful about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be great in company; the more things you’re willing to risk, the higher your chances for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for it, and it should be a reflection of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, which include: modesty, influence, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved enormous success as both an executive and a trainer.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with solid information and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly recommended.
