It feels like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He’s written articles for many magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited to think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s been giving away free advice about events and leadership and people and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this small list of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about leadership. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the finest marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, irrespective of whether you’re old or young.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for someone else to do something, do it yourself. There are so many ideas out there it is impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream is now reality.”
“The difference between success and failure is the amount of work you put in. Most people appear to expect that the more they do, the better they’ll be. The problem is that most people never discover the way to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it’s nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few people who seem to live the life they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they did not know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all of the answers, and then begin to figure them out. If you’re unwilling to change, that is the indication of a person who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is having the ability to see where you’re not going and fixing that.” “A good leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to develop new ideas.”
“A good leader understands that leaders get good results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some help along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they must have the ability to carry it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you until you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better probability of success if its products or services are exceptional, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you’re cautious about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be good in company; the more things you’re willing to risk, the greater your chances for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you will need to have a passion for it, and it ought to be an expression of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the characteristics of each style, which include: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I strongly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a trainer.
He’s written an extremely interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with good information and effective leadership approaches, this is it. Highly recommended.
