It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He’s written articles for several magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s also been giving away free advice about leadership and events and people and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this little list of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about direction. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, regardless of whether you’re old or young.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, don’t sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are so many ideas out there it is impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most individuals appear to expect that the longer they do, the better they will be. The problem is that most people never discover the way to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it’s nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Maybe you have noticed that few people who appear to live the life that they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they did not know.”
“The only way to get to direction is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then start to figure them out. If you’re reluctant to change, that’s the indication of someone who doesn’t need to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A good leader does not just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and uses that information to develop new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader understands that leaders get good results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A good leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the right thing to do; they must be able to carry it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are an essential part of learning, but errors should not stop you until you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better probability of success if its goods or services are unique, well priced, and widely available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you’re cautious about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be great in company; the more things you are willing to risk, the higher your chances for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for this, and it should be a reflection of who you are.”
This publication discusses various leadership styles. It lists the characteristics of each style, including: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I strongly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a coach.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you’re looking for an exceptional introduction to the topic, with solid information and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly suggested.
