Pro Stephen R Covey

It feels like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He has written articles for many magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s also been giving out free advice about leadership and events and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this little list of the best.

“A lot has been said lately about direction. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the finest marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus in the world. My objective is simple, to help you become your own best boss, regardless of whether you are young or old.”

“If you are not doing anything, stop doing nothing. Don’t go chasing every limelight available, don’t sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it’s not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream is now reality.”

“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most people seem to expect that the more they do, the better they will be. The issue is that most people never discover how to do enough to make it effective, and if they try, they will fail.”

“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it is nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few men and women who appear to live the life they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”

“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then start to find them out. If you’re reluctant to change, that is the indication of someone who doesn’t need to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you’re not going and fixing that.” “A good leader does not just bark out orders; he also listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to develop new ideas.”

“A fantastic leader understands that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.

“A good leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it’s not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they must be able to take it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are an essential part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”

“A company has a better probability of success if its goods or services are unique, well priced, and widely available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you’re careful about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be great in business; the more things you’re willing to risk, the greater your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you will need to have a passion for it, and it should be an expression of who you are.”

This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the characteristics of each style, which include: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone who has a background in business or management. This book gives a clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved enormous success as both an executive and a coach.

He has written an extremely interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you’re looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with good info and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly suggested.
