It feels like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He has written articles for many magazines, he has been on TV numerous times, and has been invited to think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s been giving out free advice about events and leadership and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotations and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this small list of the best.
“A lot has been said recently about direction. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus in the world. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, regardless of whether you are old or young.”
“If you are not doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, don’t sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it is not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left school, I said that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream is now reality.”
“The difference between success and failure is the amount of work you put in. Most people seem to expect that the more they do, the better they’ll be. The issue is that most people never find out the way to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it’s nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Maybe you have noticed that few people who seem to live the life they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to direction is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then begin to find them out. If you’re unwilling to change, that’s the sign of a person who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you’re not going and fixing that.” “A good leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he also listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to develop new ideas.”
“A good leader realizes that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the right thing to do; they must be able to take it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but errors should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better probability of success if its goods or services are unique, well priced, and widely available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you are careful about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be good in business; the more things you are willing to risk, the higher your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for this, and it should be an expression of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, including: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone who has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a trainer.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you’re looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with solid info and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly suggested.
