It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He has written articles for several magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited to think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he has also been giving away free advice about events and leadership and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotations and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this little list of the best.
“A lot has been said recently about direction. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the finest marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My objective is simple, to help you become your own best leader, regardless of whether you’re young or old.”
“If you are not doing anything, stop doing nothing. Don’t go chasing every limelight available, don’t sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are so many ideas out there it’s impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between success and failure is the amount of work you put in. Most individuals seem to expect that the longer they do, the better they’ll be. The problem is that most people never discover how to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they’ll fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it is nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few men and women who seem to live the life they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then begin to find them out. If you are unwilling to change, that is the indication of a person who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A good leader does not just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to develop new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader understands that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A good leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some help along the way. They recognize that it’s not enough to just know the right thing to do; they have to have the ability to carry it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better chance of success if its products or services are exceptional, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you’re cautious about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be good in company; the more things you are willing to risk, the higher your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you will need to have a passion for it, and it should be an expression of who you are.”
This publication discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, which include: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a coach.
He has written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with solid info and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly suggested.
