It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He has written articles for many magazines, he has been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he has been giving away free advice about leadership and events and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this small collection of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about leadership. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus in the world. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best boss, irrespective of whether you’re young or old.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Don’t go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it is not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left school, I said that I wanted to become an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most people appear to expect that the more they do, the better they will be. The problem is that most people never discover how to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it’s nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few men and women who seem to live the life that they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they did not know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then begin to figure them out. If you’re reluctant to change, that’s the sign of a person who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is having the ability to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A great leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to come up with new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader realizes that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it’s not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they must be able to carry it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but errors should not stop you until you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better chance of success if its goods or services are unique, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you are careful about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be great in company; the more things you are willing to risk, the higher your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for it, and it should be an expression of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the characteristics of each style, which include: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved enormous success as both an executive and a trainer.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you’re looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with solid info and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly recommended.
