It feels like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He’s written articles for several magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s also been giving out free advice about events and leadership and people and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotations and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this little collection of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about direction. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus in the world. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, irrespective of whether you’re young or old.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it is impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream is now reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most individuals seem to expect that the more they do, the better they’ll be. The issue is that most people never find out the way to do enough to make it effective, and if they try, they’ll fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it’s nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few men and women who seem to live the life that they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they did not know.”
“The only way to get to direction is to accept the fact that you don’t have all of the answers, and then begin to figure them out. If you are unwilling to change, that is the sign of someone who doesn’t need to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A good leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he also listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to develop new ideas.”
“A good leader realizes that leaders get good results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they have to be able to take it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but errors should not stop you until you can get back on your feet.”
“A business has a better probability of success if its products or services are exceptional, well priced, and widely available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you’re cautious about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be great in business; the more things you are willing to risk, the greater your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for it, and it should be a reflection of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, including: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved enormous success as both an executive and a coach.
He’s written an extremely interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an exceptional introduction to the subject, with solid info and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly suggested.
